Josh's Arrival!!!
Just waiting for summer here...rain, rain, go away ....Things have been great! Josh flew out , Lucy dove over his shoulder at the airport (a little excited, would you say?) and it has been fun since! We have been to the aquarium, Kits beach - such fun...the girls totally don't mind the frigid ocean waters, they jump in and swim.
GIANT Rhubarb @ Stanley Park

Josh and Tim have ventured out, and found the most wonderful bread - Sangak Bread...It is made in this very cool bakery, on a giant stone and hung over a rack. I am including pictures.
Tim and I have learned to make sushi and have become highly addicted..Josh however - can't stand it , and says it would be good if wrapped in something actually GOOD...like a pita or bread...not seaweed gunk!
Zig is having a great time in Winnipeg, though we miss him terribly. He has gone fishing, to a baseball game, and many other things. He is starting art classes at Gram's place next week - should be great fun! We have our friends- Sandy, Christine with their kids Sasha, Ariana, and Micha out next week, and it will be completely awesome! The kids can barely sleep and are preparing for our guests. We will post more soon - Josh and Billy are out on an adverture- so we will post what they got into! Love to ALL!!

Tolian wants to know if you can eat the giant rhubarb, like he does as "rolly polly cake"? Or if it is like the wild stuff that grows along our walk to the duck pond at Assiniboine park?
I've told him to go back to bed, and maybe Lucy and Isa will tell him tomorrow.
Kirsten, woefully with little sleep.

Hi Tolian,
I think the rhubarb would probabyly taste bitter and awful but we think it would make ALOT of cakes and pies. We need to get some good rhubarb. Plus people get into trouble if they pick stuff at Stanley Park. Bye!
